History of the manufacturer
Ca’ Nova Winery is located on the watershed of a mezzanine hill between two other hills, in a privileged position. From this location, the fertile and sunny slopes, mild climate and natural shelter from the rigors of winter have led to wine production since Frederick II. Cantina Ca’ Nova was once called CostaMediana Tabernariorum because of the large number of inns and taverns along its streets, places that have always been associated with wine production. Even the name of the House’s manor house reflects this: Castello del Tabernieri, which still retains its round tower and square-based tower, both visible among the surrounding vineyards.
